This fine quality hand crafted crystal piece features a finely detailed and incredibly life-like polar bear cub deeply engraved with frosted detailing to the reverse side of the solid crystal block. The delightful polar bear cub has been rendered with exceptional attention to detail. The surface of the creature has a delightful frosted finish which adds superb definition and depth while beautifully contrasting the sparkling crystal clear block. This exceptional example of Jonassons amazing work is wonderfully composed and harmoniously balanced. This quality lead crystal sculpture has a wonderful clarity and literally sparkles. One cannot help but be drawn into the amazing detail of the wildlife scene captured within the sparkling ice-like crystal. SIZE: This piece stands approx 80mms tall, measures 100mms in length and 60mms in width. WEIGHT: This piece weighs 515 grams. CONDITION: This crystal sculpture is presented in good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There are a few light surface scratches to the front face noticeable only on close examination but mentioned for complete accuracy. This piece has been exceptionally well cared for and presents spectacularly. MARKS: This piece is beautifully signed and numbered with an inscribed mark to the base “MJ Sweden 2549”. The original Mats Jonasson label remains in place with minor wear mentioned for accuracy.
