Wildtype Neocaridina Shrimp – No Colors You will receive 5 shrimp, all adult size or very near. This package is a great way to find out if your tank is shrimp friendly before purchasing more expensive color options and packages. (Please check out the other shrimp packages available in my store) I know from personal experience that buying shrimp for the first time can be stressful and often a failure. It really hurts if you spend a lot of money on beautiful shrimp, only to find out your tank was not as ready as you hoped it was. I myself took several attempts to establish my first successful shrimp colony. I designed this package to be the cheapest way possible to TEST YOUR TANK, nothing more than that. The shrimp you receive will be wildtype crossbreeds with no desirable colors. If they survive for more than a week, you can assume your tank is prepared for a shrimp colony of your desired colors or mixtures. These are beautiful shrimp that can add interest to most any freshwater aquarium, but they are not the brightest. I personally find the patterns quite unique and interesting, even some shrimp that are completely clear. Your order will ship USPS, with an arrive alive guarantee. Shrimp ship well and can withstand even some delays of up to 2 weeks due to the bags I use. Please use the tracking number you receive to plan for their arrival. Packages left in direct sunlight can suffer deaths in only a matter of hours, so immediate retrieval upon delivery is vital. For customers in freezing areas of the country, please either wait for better weather to order, or arrange to have your package held at your local post office for pick-up. Delivery vehicles are constantly in and out, and do not maintain temperatures. I cannot guarantee live home delivery in temperatures below 40F. Your local post office will hold your order for pickup if you contact them the day before delivery with the tracking information.
